2nd Lambeg Scout group family camp at the North coast

Group family Camp

The family camp seems to have been enjoyed by all who attended. We all arrived on Friday evening and while the Adults settled into Ski Supremes large house the Cubs scouts and beavers either played volley ball, helped pitch tents or played football against the leaders and more energetic parents. The Adults lost!

Saturday morning was taken up with swimming at Colraine swimming pool or Climbing at Colraine Scout Hall. Lunch was followed by Survival skills in the forest on the way to Limavady. The group then split with the majority opting for Go Karting, whilst the remainder went for a gental ramble at Roe Valley Country Park

Sunday was taken up with a treasure hunt, followed by a Picnic on the beach

Thanks to Colin for organising the camp, Jill for organising the catering throughout the weekend and a special mention for Paul who looked after the BBQ on Saturday night and Andrew Ballard and his helpers for the cooked breakfast on Sunday Morning.
